You have a dangerous prelbom there and should get that engine off. The boat is rated for 7 hp. It may have a tendency to stand up when you hit the throttle and with all that extra weight in the back it could under the right conditions stand up and then sink. That big engine takes away from your load capacity also. You did not say what a new 7 hp 4 stroke engine weighs but think about this. If you are out messing about in the boat and are stopped by the USCG and they spot the overpowered condition, they can take you off the boat and tow you back in and then write it up and keep you off the water until you correct the prelbom. I believe the marine police can also.
